Buddhist temple berusia 1000 tahun, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in menawarkan penginapan gaya Jepun, taman yang indah serta Wifi percuma. The location, room, garden has awesome atmosphere- I loved the meditation session and the fire ritual! We stayed for two nights and took evening cemetery tour which was informative and mysterious at the same time! Dinners are superb! I booked family room for two of us and it was great and spacious. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in Buddhism or with appreciation of esoteric teachings. Staff is caring and attentive!

It was my first time staying in a temple. The whole experience was excellent (meditation, morning ceremony and homa ceremony). The monks were very helpful. Everything was very clean. My stay was during winter and my room was heated, which made it comfortable. The food (dinner and breakfast) was great.

The staff was very friendly, but most of them spoke very little English. There was some confusion with getting dinner for the evening as it was not included in my reservation. So if you want breakfast or dinner, snd it is not included in your reservation, make sure to tell them you want it as soon as you check in. It was a wonderful experience to stay there! Make sure you go to the Fire ceremony, which was at 1 pm daily. It is free.

The room si beautiful old Japanese style room, bed was very comfortable, amenities are generous and various. The location is perfect, near to accommodation in the center of the famous gion district. Hosts are very kind and fully available. We spent a wonderful stay.

Set in Shirahama, within 200 metres of Shirahama Beach and 1.2 km of Ezura Beach, Shirahama no Yado Daigo offers free WiFi throughout the property. 10/10 perfect 2 days here in shirahama :) the staff is so friendly and will help you with everything! they cant speak english but will still try to do the best they can. Google Translater will help a lot :-)

The staff is very friendly, prompt and kindly let us leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. The dinner option was also spectacular, with fluent english staff and a great pace to have a wagyu tasting.
